Software aspects of qualification in the SafeAir II Project

The SafeAir II project is a European Commission project that contributed to “Dependability in Services and Technologies”. It implements a comprehensive open environment that help keeping the validation effort needed to achieve the present safety level of the embedded software systems within reasonable costs despite their increasing size and complexity. The paper describes the Software aspects of qualification in the Project.
